Mobile Car Scratch & Paint Repairs Oldham
Scrapes, light key marks and chipped paint put right on your drive or at work, ready for a sale, a trade-in or a lease return.
Paint repairs before the car changes hands

A scratch is the kind of fault anyone notices from a few feet away, whether that’s a buyer on your doorstep, a salesperson pricing a part-exchange or an inspector at the end of a lease. Getting it done first means the car is judged on its condition, not on one obvious line down a door.
Everyday scrapes count too. Narrow gateposts on older Werneth and Coldhurst streets, wheelie bins on collection day and hedges along the lanes above Delph all leave their mark. Where a scratch has opened the paint to bare metal, sealing it sooner keeps moisture out.
Polish, touch in or refinish?
Not every mark needs paint. Faint scuffs in the top layer of lacquer can sometimes be machined back. Marks you can feel with a fingernail have usually cut into the colour coat and need filling, painting and fresh lacquer. Your close-up photo lets us tell which, and the quote reflects the repair the car actually needs.
What happens on the day
- Check. We look over the panel in daylight and confirm the depth of each scratch.
- Level. The area is cleaned, keyed and filled until it sits flat with the surrounding paint.
- Match. Colour is mixed from your paint code, with a test card compared against the car before it goes on.
- Seal. Clear lacquer is applied, heat cured and polished, then we explain how soon you can wash it.
Other damage on the same panel
If the scratch sits in a dip, it’s priced with dent removal. Scrapes on plastic corners come under bumper scuff repair, and several panels marked at once are quoted as mobile bodywork. Wheels grazed at the same time? See alloy refurbishment.
We cover Oldham and the Saddleworth villages. Send us your scratch photos or ring 07999 909 404. We can’t say what a finance or leasing company will make of any particular mark, because that depends on your own agreement and its return guide. What we can do is give you a firm repair price, so you have something to weigh up before the inspection.
